The Presbytery of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Black Presbyterian Caucus invite us to a Celebration of African-American Presbyterian Heritage and History this Sunday, 3:00 p.m., at Oxford Presbyterian Church, 8501 Stenton Avenue (near Gravers). The guest preacher is the Reverend Dr. Byron Wade, Vice-Moderator of the 218th General Assembly.

I am looking forward to going and hope others will join me!  Also, all are invited to sing in the choir for that event.  Dr. Ethelyn Taylor will be conducting and the choir will be singing three well-known spirituals; there is an (optional) rehearsal on Saturday at 11:15 but Dr. Taylor said anyone who comes at 2:15 on Sunday is welcome and that it will not be difficult.  For more information call 215-247-9487.

Thank you,

Cheryl
