Along with many other faith communities, Summit is co-sponsoring a festival to celebrate the lives, visions and teaching of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. What would these two prophetic leaders have us do today? Programs run from Friday night through Saturday evening, and keynoters include Dr. Vincent Harding (historian and close colleague of Dr. King), Ms. Dorothy Cotton (former Education Director of Southern Christian Leadership Conference) and Rabbi Michael Lerner (study of Heschel and editor of Tikkun).
