Although beautiful, the snow this winter has meant more work for everyone. That’s been especially true for our church Sexton, Harold Tilley, who has gone above and beyond in his tending of our grounds and sidewalks during these weeks. He has come in at least twice a day even in the midst of snowstorms (he assures me his 4WD truck can handle nearly anything) and has put in hours to keep the church safe and hospitable. The snow came at an especially busy time with outside groups and hourly rentals, and Harold has always been gracious and helpful with our guests. Thank you also to Carl Shaifer and Reggie Ballard for their assistance. And, off the subject of snow - next time you are near the choir loft, look up! Harold has replaced those light bulbs . . . without a (high) ladder. Amazing!
