One Great Hour of Sharing

On Palm Sunday and Easter, we’ll be receiving the One Great Hour of Sharing offering. This ecumenical offering is a chance to share our resources with people in need in the U.S. and around the world. One-third of the offering goes to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance; another third goes to the fund for Self Development of People, which provides money for economic projects to help people become self-sufficient; and the rest goes to the Presbyterian Hunger Program. These are all long-standing, well-run programs that are ready to help when disaster or misfortune strikes. Please be generous! You may put your offering in a OGHS envelope, or simply mark a check made out to Summit and send it to the church. Thank you.
