Learning More about the Welcoming Movement

Session is inviting members from churches who have joined the Covenant Network of Presbyterians, YES (a local interfaith group) and More Light Presbyterians to speak with them about what it has meant for their congregations to make a more explicitly welcome to GLBT (gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender) people and to belong to one of these organizations. Summit members are welcome to join us! We will let you know more details as speakers are lined up, but if you’re interested mark your calendars (in pencil, at least) for the 2nd Thursdays of February/March and April at 7:30. After these conversations the Session may propose a course of action for Summit that it will bring to the congregation for conversation.
