Going Deeper in Worship, Wednesday evenings, October 12, 19, 26 and November 2 & 9 Board Room, 7:30 - 8:45

Join the pastor and members of the worship committee as we take a deeper look at wor-ship. We'll present information on the his-tory and theology of worship, including ele-ments and order (i.e., prayer, music, preach-ing), sacraments, and present-day questions and controversies. We'll talk about what's "Presbyterian" (or not) in our service, and we want to hear about YOUR experience of worship, as the pastor and worship commit-tee discern how to strengthen worship at Summit. On the last Wednesday we'll invite you to share how you worship beyond Sun-days, and provide resources for private devo-tions. We'll start promptly at 7:30 and end in time for most folks to be home by 9:00. Decaf coffee and cookies will be served.
