Find out what we have in store for children, teens, and adults this year. Click to read full details.
Sunday School has gotten off to a strong start, with a lovely luncheon on September 13th to celebrate the beginning of the year. We have more teachers than ever and welcomed new ones at a training on September 26th; a few volunteers are still needed for the spring semester.
On Sunday evening, October 25th, we will be having a dessert & decaf meeting of parents and people interested in working with youth in grades 6-12 at the home of Lois and Jim Gaskins, at 7:00 p.m. We'll be sharing hopes for our youth and planning activities, including a possible confirmation class. We're excited about resuming programming for this group and look forward to connecting with each other. Please contact Lori Springer at (570) 815-7729 if you are able to attend.
On Wednesday, October 21st, from 7:00 -8:30, we'll begin a 6-week series on “Noah’s Ark for Grownups.” This course will be an introduction to methods of interpretation that are taught in seminary, with Noah’s Ark (and perhaps other favorites) as a case study. Bring all those questions about the Bible that you’ve never had a chance to ask!
