Friday, April 20, 8-10 a.m., Lutheran Theological Seminary, 7301 Germantown Avenue
We are invited to join with faith communities around the city for breakfast, prayer and reflection on the issue of hunger. Max Finberg, Director of USDA Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships will be the keynote speaker, and prayer leaders from many faith traditions will lead prayer and reflection. At 10:00 a.m., there will be opportunity to continue the conversation and attend workshops for another hour. A free will offering of $15 suggested. Alvina Ransaw and Peggy MacGregor attended last year, and reported that it was informative, energizing and also a lovely breakfast. Please let Cheryl know if you would like to attend by April 13th.
