The NW Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network has nowhere to host their homeless families for two weeks in September, so Director Rachel Falkove sent an SOS to three Presbyterian co-hosts, Chestnut Hill, Mount Airy, and Summit. Mount Airy offered to provide the space on condition that the other Presbyterians gave them some support. Chestnut Hill agreed immediately to take the second week. Summit is being asked to co-host during the first week - September 9 -15. So let's join our fellow Presbyterians in this worthwhile service. Can you help by providing a meal one evening or by sleeping over one night? For more information or to volunteer contact Margaret VanUmmersen at 215-205-2648 or vanummersen@verizon.net.
