New REACH Director and Program Year

With the leave taking of Lori Chaffers, the personnel committee consulted with Session for a process for finding a new REACH director. Advertising within the congregation and among volunteers, the Committee interviewed a few outstanding candidates and is pleased to announce the Hector Badeau will be taking the reins this fall. Hector has been a regular volunteer with REACH for several years and knows well the youth and the program; he also has wide experience with young people. We invite all members of the church to become involved with this recreation program that hosts approximately 50 youth in the neighborhood (boys and girls) every other Friday night for basketball, board games, cooking, and conversation.
